It's time to say Hi
This is a hugely exciting and important time for us. We have a bold vision to transform
children’s lives through innovation, because we believe they deserve nothing less and
because the need has never been more urgent.
Each year over 5 million children die from mostly preventable and treatable conditions.
Even in developed countries the rates of premature birth, childhood cancers, obesity and
disabilities are increasing. The effects of these are unfairly and dramatically compounded by
worsening inequalities related to poverty, race, gender, geography, and climate.
So how can we meet these challenges and harness the huge potential of the digital age for
the most deserving and vulnerable patients?
From our experience of developing globally impactful innovation, we understand that
collaboration is key, between our clinical care teams, industry, academia, and funding
partners from public and private sectors. Together we can create and implement solutions
for clinical and commercial success.
The team at Hi believe that great innovation is truly problem-led. We’ve been actively
engaging and listening to patients, their families, and colleagues. They have helped us
identify problems that cut across ages, conditions, and clinical teams and which have the
greatest international significance.
We are now ready to share the Hi launch “challenges” based on these problems and the
need to solve them. We want to share these priorities with our partners, to ensure they are
laser-focussed on solving them, working collaboratively with us and other key stakeholders.
Innovation in healthcare is complex and that is why we bring together experienced clinical
innovators with the proven specialist skills of our delivery partners. We also reach out and
connect with wider innovation ecosystems. Collectively we provide an end-to-end process,
from nurturing the earliest and most disruptive ideas, to co-designing, evaluating,
implementing, and scaling nationally and globally.
At every step we are true to values, staying laser-focussed on innovations that will
transform outcomes, creates great experiences for children and their care teams, actively
address inequality, and add economic and environmental sustainability to our health
services.
Say Hi to us, and with us, today.
